Zheng-Bo Huang, MD
Zheng-Bo Huang, MD, is a graduate of Fujian Medical College. He completed his Internal Medicine Fellowship training at Peking Union Medical College (PUMC) Hospital, Beijing in 1982 and worked as a medical attending of the PUMC. From 1984 to 1986 Dr. Huang served as the physician and medical consultant of the Chinese Mission to the United Nations. He later took the job as a research associate at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital of the College for Physicians & Surgeons, Columbia University. After completing 3-year Internal Medicine residency training at the same Institute and 2-year Geriatrics Fellowship training at Mt. Sinai Hospital, he joined St. Vincent's Hospital Manhattan in 1998 as an attending physician. He was promoted as the Director of Geriatric Consult Service and later the Director of Medical Education and Research of Acute Care for Elder Unit. Because of his extensive experiences in clinical medicine, teaching, and research, he was recruited in 2003 by the New York Hospital Queens as the Director of Inpatient Geriatrics to setup the Geriatric Care Unit and to help the starting of the Geriatric Fellowship Program at NYHQ. Dr. Huang is an Assistant Professor of Medicine of the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He also has a private practice at Flushing, NY.
