ACAP President-Ziqiang Zhu, MD

Dr. Ziqiang Zhu graduated from Zhejiang University School of Medicine and Peking Union Medical College in China. He received postdoctoral training at University of Louisville and National Cancer Institute (NCI/NIH). Dr. Zhu has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals. Dr. Zhu completed Internal Medicine residency training at Brookdale University Hospital Center in Brooklyn NY. Dr. Zhu is affiliated with New York Presbyterian Queens and Elmhurst Hospital Center. He is ABIM (American Board of Internal Medicine) and ABOM (American Board of Obesity Medicine) board certified.

Dr. Zhu is the medical director of his private office Wellsure Medical Practice PC located in Flushing NY.

ACAP Vice President-Yulin Wang, MD

Dr. Yulin Wang graduated from Peking Union Medical College (PUMC) in China and received postdoctoral training at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He has published multiple peer-reviewed research papers in professional journals which has been widely cited. Dr. Wang completed Internal Medicine residency training at North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital and served as an attending physician for nearly 10 years. Dr. Wang was an assistant professor at Hofstra School of Medicine. He received Outstanding Teacher award of LIJ-North Shore.

Dr. Wang is the medical director of his private clinic located in downtown Flushing NY.

ACAP Chief Executive Office-Jin Li, MD, Ph.D, FAAN, FAANEM

Graduated from the prestigious medical school of Peking University in China, Jin Li, MD, PhD, FAAN, FAANEM, is Associate Professor of Neurology, New York Medical College, and is the chief of Neuromuscular Section and medical director of headache service, Westchester Medical Center.  

Dr. Li is independently board certified in the fields of Neurology, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Neuromuscular Medicine and Headache Medicine.  She is a fellow member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and a member of American Headache Society. She is a former president of Association of Chinese American Physicians and current president of Chinese American Neurological Association.

ACAP Chairman of Advisory BoardWensong Li, MD

Dr. Wensong Li graduated from West China University of Medical Sciences and completed his surgery and anesthesiology residency at North Shore University Hospital and Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Li also completed his pain management fellowship at New York University Medical Center. Dr Li is double board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management with extended expertise in treating back pain and arthritis pain.

Dr. Li is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and Fellow of the North American Neuromodulation Association (NANA).

ACAP Secretary-Fangming Deng, MD, PhD

Dr. Fangming Deng graduated from Harbin Medical University in 1988. He completed residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University Affiliated Hospitals. He is certified by the American Board of Pathology – Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology and has a state license in New York.

Dr. Deng is a Professor of Department of Pathology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, Director of Genitourinary Pathology Fellowship Program, Immunohistochemistry, and Genitourinary Pathology.

ACAP Treasurer-Jia Hong, MD

Dr. Jia Hong graduated from Tongji Medical University, she completed family medicine resident training in 2008 at Mount Sinai South Nassau. Dr. Hong has been practicing in Flushing since 2009, she is one of the co-founder for Rendr and served as medical director from 2019-2022. Dr. Hong currently serves as the Chairman of both the ACAP Media/Publication Committee and the Volunteer Committee.

ACAP Public Relation Officer-Dr. Zimei Zhou, MD, PhD

Dr. Zimei Zhou graduated in 2002 from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University in China. After graduation, she worked as an ophthalmologist for three years at the Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat Hospital affiliated with Fudan University before pursuing further studies in the United States.

She earned her Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Wayne State University in Michigan. Dr. Zhou then completed her ophthalmology residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York, an affiliate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident from 2013 to 2014.

Following her residency, Dr. Zhou completed a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the University of Florida at Jacksonville.
