美国华人医师会将于11月21日星期二下午2点至4点，在法拉盛图书馆3楼会议室举行一场小型健康讲座。本次讲座的主题是：“糖尿病是否可以预防？”

众所周知，糖尿病是一种普遍而且严重的慢性疾病，现代的饮食结构使人更容易患上糖尿病。欧阳昊绪医生将作为11月份健康讲座的主讲人，向大家介绍糖尿病的预防措施，帮助大家更了解糖尿病的发病机制，减少糖尿病带来的健康隐患。

美国华人医师会（ACAP）此次邀请法拉盛内科家庭医生欧阳昊绪医学博士主讲。欧阳昊绪医生毕业于复旦大学上海医学院，并在达特茅斯大学获得了癌症生物学博士学位。欧阳昊绪医生在金斯布鲁克犹太医疗中心 （布鲁克林健康系统的一部分）接受了内科住院医师培训，并目前与西奈山晨兴医院（Mount Sinai Morningside）保持合作关系。最近，欧阳昊绪医生在法拉盛成立了一家医疗诊所，担任初级保健医生，专注于成人患者护理。其主要目标是提供高质量的医疗服务，尤其是在华人社区内。欧阳昊绪医生致力于对患者的健康和福祉产生积极影响，并为社区中值得信赖的医疗服务提供者而感到自豪。

自2007年以来，ACAP美国华人医师会每年举办社区健康节，为广大华人居民提供免费健康讲座、健康资讯以及多种现场体检服务。此外，ACAP每个月在社区举办健康讲座。

The Association of Chinese American Physicians (ACAP) will hold a small health talk on Tuesday, November 21st, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the third-floor Conference room of the Flushing Library. The topic of this lecture is: “Can Diabetes Be Prevented?”

As is well known, diabetes is a common and serious chronic disease, and modern dietary habits make people more susceptible to diabetes. Dr. Haoxu Ouyang will be the main speaker for the health lecture in November, introducing preventive measures for diabetes, helping everyone understand the mechanisms of diabetes, and reducing the health risks associated with it.

ACAP has invited Dr. Haoxu Ouyang, a family medicine doctor in Flushing, to be the main speaker. Dr. Ouyang graduated from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University and earned a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology at Dartmouth. She received internal medicine residency training at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center (part of the One Brooklyn Health System) and currently maintains an affiliation with Mount Sinai Morningside. Recently, Dr. Ouyang established a medical clinic in Flushing, serving as a primary care physician, with a focus on adult patient care. Her primary goal is to provide high-quality healthcare services, particularly within the Chinese community. Dr. Ouyang is dedicated to making a positive impact on patients’ health and well-being and takes pride in being a trusted healthcare provider in the community.

Since 2007, ACAP has been organizing an annual Community Health Fair, providing free health lectures, health information, and various on-site health screening services to the Chinese community. In addition, ACAP hosts monthly health lectures in the community.
