The Association of Chinese American Physicians (ACAP) will host a small health talk on June 20th, 2024 (Thursday) from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Elmhurst Library’s 3rd-floor meeting room. The lecture’s topic is “About Pulsatile Tinnitus,” and it will be presented by Dr. Srikanth Reddy Boddu from New York- Presbyterian Queens Hospital.
Pulsatile tinnitus is a type of ringing in the ears characterized by hearing a sound similar to a heartbeat in the ears, usually synchronized with the heartbeat. Pulsatile tinnitus can be very uncomfortable and is closely associated with vascular diseases. If you experience this symptom, it is recommended to seek medical attention early to rule out potential serious causes. Everyone is welcome to attend!
